Dear Cat-Loving Friend

Every Day is worth celebrating.

Why I Created Cat Celebrations

My first cat, Finn, shared my life for 12 years. I miss him every day, and often wish I had celebrated more of our ordinary time together. Caring for him also made me more thoughtful about what I feed my cats and how quickly the small moments pass.

Today, Baker and Nikita, my two Maine Coons, are my companions and taste testers. Together we are helping other cat parents make something simple, share a small ritual, and celebrate the time they have together.

So make the little cake. Spoon the tiny soup. Take the blurry photo. What matters is the pause, the moment you say "I am so glad you are part of my life." From my kitchen to your, may your home be full of everyday joy.

Love, Laura

and the Maine Coon Chefs, Baker + Nikita

Baker

Baker is a creamy orange male, born in 2024, the older brother by two months. He is loyal, playful and observant. He growls at the sound of the doorbell and runs away. He loves to play hide and seek, and chase a string. He will proudly bring you his toy mouse, or any other item he can fit in his mouth. He enjoys chittering at you and the birds, and being brushed.

Nikita

Nikita is a dark brown, grey female. Despite her fierce look, she has a goofy personality. Curious, clever and always ready for fun, she runs toward the doorbell, excited to meet someone new. She is silly, uncoordinated and will try to fit into any size box. She loves to play ball and hunt for hidden treats. She enjoys watching the bunnies, squirrels and birds from the window.
